With Teeth Still Loose From Holly Holm’s Knockout Kick, Ronda Rousey Can’t Eat Apples—Much Less Fight—For Months
ESPN The Magazine this week posted an exclusive interview with Ronda Rousey, the first she’s given since her knockout loss to kickboxer Holly Holm. The story, which is very much worth a read, opens with the famed fighter revealing that her teeth are still loose from the blows she took in that fight.
“It might be three to six months before I can eat an apple, let alone take an impact,” Rousey told reporter Ramona Shelburne.

In the interview, Rousey also said that she spent much of the week after the fight eating nothing but fast food and living out of a truck with her boyfriend, Travis Browne. She’s back at her home in Los Angeles now and beginning to train again. And yes, she says she will have a rematch against Holm. “I need to beat this chick,” Rousey said.
