Odell Beckham Jr.’s Cousin, Terron Beckham, Could Shatter NFL Combine Records
If you aren’t yet familiar with Terron Beckham, here’s a quick rundown:
- He’s a fitness model and personal trainer
- He’s Odell Beckham Jr.’s cousin
- He’s one of the strongest dudes on the planet
And to make things even more interesting, you might see him in an NFL uniform next season. Despite the fact that Terron never played college football, his incredible athleticism and genetic bloodline have led many to believe he could earn a job in the NFL—including himself.
Beckham is currently training for the 2016 National Scouting Combine at TEST Football Academy in Martinsville, New Jersey. The National Scouting Combine is an event that gives athletes who weren’t invited to the NFL Combine an opportunity to show their stuff to pro scouts, and it looks like Beckham’s on pace to post ridiculous numbers.
The 5-foot-11, 230-pound Beckham has the size to be a punishing back in the mold of a Marshawn Lynch, and his agility and hands look like they’re on point.
He also recently repped out 225 for 40 reps on the Bench Press test, which beat the top result at the 2015 Combine by three reps.
Oh, and he also recorded a 44-inch Vertical Jump, one inch short of the top result at last year’s Combine.
Even if his football skills are still a little raw, Beckham’s remarkable blend of strength, speed and athleticism should draw heavy interest from NFL teams.
