We don’t want to propound a conspiracy theory here, but the Cleveland Cavaliers’ team plane being detained on the tarmac of Toronto’s Pearson International Airport seems awfully fishy, given that the Cavs are up 2-0 in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Toronto Raptors. Were Canadian officials unprepared to clear an entire NBA team through Customs? Was some high ranking Canadian official playing mind games with the Cavs players?
Last time we checked, the team had been detained for over an hour.

Thompson posted the above photo to his Instagram with the caption “waiting for customs to let them in like.” Jefferson, via his Snapchat, asked Matthew Dellavadova whether he thought the delay had anything do with the Cavs’ beatdown of the Raptors twice in a row back in Cleveland?
“No comment,” Dellavedova responded with a smile.
