Minnesota Timberwolves guard Zach LaVine has massive hops. Fans know this because as a rookie, he won the 2015 Sprite Slam Dunk Contest with an outstanding air show. Unlike some past Dunk Contest competitors, LaVine is able to execute incredible dunks in games too.

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Zach LaVine has massive hops. Fans know this because as a rookie, he won the 2015 Sprite Slam Dunk Contest with an outstanding air show. Unlike some past Dunk Contest competitors, LaVine is able to execute incredible dunks in games too.

Last Saturday against the Milwaukee Bucks, LaVine was on the receiving end of a beautiful lob pass from Ricky Rubio, and he finished the play with a humongous alley-oop dunk. LaVine left the ground before he was even in the paint, fully extended, and his head was at rim level. Most guys wouldn't even have gone for the ball.

The craziest thing about this dunk is that he looks elegant in the air, almost like he isn't even trying to jump. You'd better believe he will be defending his title in this year's Dunk Contest.
