Vans Sneakers to Roll Out Indoor Skate Park in Brooklyn
Vans, Inc. has announced plans to open, later this month, the “House of Vans,” a 24,000-square-foot indoor skateboard park in a Brooklyn warehouse. No details have been released as to what sort of ramps or rails might be built, but we expect only the best from a brand that has defined skater style for years.
Although the park won’t be open to the public on a regular basis, local skaters will have opportunities to roll around on certain occasions. For the most part, the park will be used by Vans-endorsed skaters and for special promotional events.
The Cali-based brand hopes the massive park will increase its presence and recognition in NYC and on the East Coast.
