The Miami Dolphins have been playing extremely well recently, winning seven of their last eight games. Much of that success can be attributed to the Dolphins' leader and quarterback Ryan Tannehill. But despite his impressive play this season, Tannehill showed that even the best athletes can make mistakes. During the Dolphins' 26-23 victory over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, Tannehill threw the worst pass you will ever see.
Late in the second quarter, the Dolphins were driving to get a score in before halftime. The 28-year-old quarterback attempted a screen pass to wide receiver Jarvis Landry, but instead of hitting Landry for what should have been his easiest completion of the day, Tannehill had the ball fly wildly out of his hands straight into the ground. The play didn't even count as a pass because the ball went backwards. Unfortunately, there were no excuses for the bad throw.
Congratulations to Ryan Tannehill on the worst pass in NFL history https://t.co/0KgWr5BQqP
