Watch Pittsburgh Steelers LB Ryan Shazier Warm Up Shirtless in 1-Degree Weather
The Pittsburgh Steelers are taking on the Miami Dolphins in Pittsburgh today in the first round of the NFL playoffs, and as is usually the case in January in Pennsylvania, it’s cold as heck. In fact, according to weather.com, with the wind chill currently feels like 1 degree in the Steel City, which is the type of temperature humans were not made to live in. Unless you’re Ryan Shazier.

Shazier hit Heinz Field for warmups this morning in nothing but a pair of sweatpants and a ski mask, his bare chest exposed to the arctic Pittsburgh wind, and he looked like he didn’t have one iota of a care. Arguably the Steelers best player on defense, Shazier is already setting a tone early, one that screams “the elements do not affect me!”

Whether it was an intimidation tactic by Shazier engaging in psychological warfare with his tropics-based opponent or he truly doesn’t feel cold remains to be seen. Hopefully Shazer won’t contract pneumonia before the kickoff, or his shirtless shenanigans will all have been for naught.
