Strongman Hafthór Júlíus Björnsson, best known as the “The Mountain” on the HBO series Game of Thrones, is one of the strongest men on the planet. The 6-foot-9, 400-pound beast is a 6-time Strongest Man champion in Iceland and a 2-time Strongest Man champion in Europe.

If you need more proof that he’s one of the strongest men ever, check out Instagram. His page is filled with videos showing off his unbelievable strength with incredible lifts. The most recent post shows The Mountain performing a 455-pound Log Clean and Press, which is a personal best for him.
In the video, Björnsson loses his mind to get ready for the lift. He kicks a barbell around and lets loose monstrous screams. After completing the lift, he continues to yell and chest bump his hype man, who did a great job of motivating him.
According to strongman.org, the Log Clean and Press is a lift unique to Strongman competitions. The thought of getting the log from the floor to over your head is easy to understand, but the log is very heavy and very awkward to grip and lift.

Björnsson does a great job with the lift, but he still has work to do if he wants to be the best. The record for this lift is held by Lithuanian strongman Zydrunas Savickas, who log-pressed 485 pounds during the World’s Strongest Man final in 2012.
