Who’s the Idiot Who Photobombed the U.S. Diving Trials?
At the 2021 U.S. Olympic Diving trials over the weekend in Bloomington, Ind., the television audience at home noticed a fan lurking in the background as divers prepared to plunge into the water.
And while some applauded the man on Twitter for being funny, others called out this hooligan for being a rude distraction to the athletes competing to go to the Summer Games.

Even the social team at NBC Sports, who also televised this event, could not pass up the moment to draw attention to the hilarity:
So who is this man? Has anyone claimed responsibility?

According to Twitter, John Boyle says he lives in Ohio and looks like your typical goofy, immature high-school teen. His feed suggests Boyle is a major Cleveland sports fan.
But John did you have to wear such an insensitive shirt on television? Don’t you know the Cleveland Indians have already moved away from the Chief Wahoo logo and a name change appears to be on the horizon?
While I admit I chuckled for a moment at your actions over the weekend, I must also say they were a bit childish. And certainly unfair to the athletes who’ve put in years of training to qualify for the Olympics, only to be distracted by you cranking out some unnecessary push-ups.
