Yasiel Puig Joins Bryce Harper’s ‘Make Baseball Fun Again’ Campaign
If there was one baseball player who was most likely to hop on Bryce Harper’s “Make Baseball Fun Again” campaign, it had to be Yasiel Puig. In just three short seasons, Puig has managed to anger every baseball purist by flipping his bat on hits that aren’t even home runs, foolishly attempting to turn singles into doubles and being thrown out by a mile, and making routine catches in the outfield as flashy as possible.

So it comes as absolutely no surprise that Puig recently took a selfie featuring a “Make Baseball Fun Again” cap atop his head and becoming the latest young star to join Harper in his disdain for baseball’s unwritten rules. Puig even started referring to Harper as his idol.
“We have to make baseball fun for the fans and not take everything so personal,” Puig told ESPN the Magazine.
If nothing else, “Make Baseball Fun Again” hats have taken off in popularity, sprouting up on fans’ heads around the country. With Puig lending his voice to the cause, it’s only a matter of time before this slogan becomes a household name.
