Golf is a sport with traditions, etiquette and class. Then A.J. Hawk shows up. Yesterday at the American Century Championship, a celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, a fan of the Green Bay Packers linebacker requested that Hawk tackle him. What ever happened to just asking for an autograph?

Of course, Hawk obliged, much to the delight of the crowd. Great form by Hawk too, leading with the shoulder and avoiding helmet to helmet contact. Safety first. Is this going to become a thing now? Asking professional football players to tackle you? We can’t say it’s smart, but it sure is entertaining.
