Brandon Jennings Trains Through All-Star Snub
Despite averaging a career-best 18 points per game in the first half of the abbreviated NBA season, Milwaukee Bucks point guard Brandon Jennings did not make the Eastern Conference All-Star team. But rather than spend the fun-filled weekend pouting, sulking or partying, Jennings stayed in Milwaukee and worked to show the league how wrong they were for snubbing him.
In the latest episode of Under the Armour—the brand’s documentary series running on Jennings’ Under Armour YouTube channel—fans get a chance to see his life on and off the court. In the video below, as he gets ready for a training session, Jennings says, “I could be on vacation right now. Vegas! I could be in Miami, I could be in LA. You just got to keep pushing, man.”
His work ethic helped make Jennings the cover athlete for STACK magazine’s Holiday 2011 issue, and it will continue to push him to become a star performer in the NBA. Watch the video to find out how.
