Calling All ‘Triple-Impact Competitors’: Win a Scholarship From The Positive Coaching Alliance
If you are currently a high school junior who will graduate in 2015, you still have three more weeks to apply for one of 62 Triple-Impact Competitor Scholarships, ranging between 1,000 to $2,000, to be awarded by our friends at the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA), a national non-profit organization working to provide youth and high school athletes with more positive, character-building experiences through sports and dedicated to developing “Better Athletes, Better People.”
To be eligible, you must be a high school junior student-athlete (either through your school or on a club team) with a GPA of at least 2.5.
First and foremost, you should be a Triple-Impact Competitor, a player who has demonstrated personal mastery, leadership and honor within your sport. In other words, you are improving and making positive contributions on three levels—to yourself, to your teammates and to your sport as a whole.
To enter, explain why and how you are a Triple-Impact Competitor and provide three testimonials to verify and further describe how you exemplify those qualities.
For more information, visit the PCA website. The deadline to apply is May 31.
