Dez Bryant Says Spelling Bee Champ Made His Day
The 2016 Scripps National Spelling Bee included a contestant’s brother hitting the “Dab” several times, some trolling from a kid nicknamed “The Machine” and a high-five snub from the same contestant at the end. The annual spelling contest was as lively as a busy intersection.
Nihar Janga, the 11-year-old nicknamed “The Machine,” produced a good portion of the contest’s liveliness. After correctly spelling “Geschellschaft” to win the Bee, he threw up the “X,” Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant’s signature touchdown celebration.

With Janga’s elite spelling and celebration abilities capturing the world Thursday night, Bryant congratulated the Spelling Bee co-champion, tweeting that he needs to find a way to get him to a Cowboys game. 13-year-old Jairam Hathwar was the contest’s other champion.
#NiharJanga you just made my whole day buddy.. Congrats on winning the #spellingbee champ.. Some how some way I have to get you to a game #x

With a nickname like “The Machine,” Janga should have something in common with the NFL receiver. Though Bryant only played in nine games last season because of a broken foot and ankle injury, he was a machine on the field during 2014, catching 16 touchdowns and racking up 1,320 receiving yards.
