NBA All-Star Paul Millsap’s Quick Feet Drill
Atlanta Hawks power forward Paul Millsap can do a little bit of everything. The two-time NBA All-Star can use his quickness to get by you, his power to finish at the rim, or his vision to dish a flashy assist. Last season Millsap averaged 16.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game, and he plans to increase those numbers next season with hard off-season work.
Millsap is training with Travelle Gaines at Athletic Gaines in Las Vegas. In the video above, Millsap works on his lateral quickness by doing Resisted Lateral Mini-Hurdles. He performs 10 sets of eight-second bursts, keeping one foot in the center of the hurdles at all times.
