Hey, football athletes. Do you need to improve your first movement speed and increase your explosiveness? This spring in Charlotte, N.C., I will be hosting a Combine Prep Camp. Athletes will have the opportunity to work with one of the top combine coaches in the country to improve their combine test technique.
A combine camp may be your one chance to show a college coach that you can play for his school. Whether the combine is sponsored by a college or university or by a recruiting company like Webletes.com, you want to be fully prepared going in.
Where: Revolution Park, 1225 Remount, Charlotte, N.C. 28208
When: March 9, 2013, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Who can attend: Any athlete over the age of 12 looking to improve his combine skills
What will be taught: Instruction will be given on the five most common combine tests—
- 40-Yard Dash
- Pro Shuttle
- Vertical Jump
- Broad Jump
Each athlete will have his combine events videotaped and analyzed for continued improvement. Athletes will also learn the best techniques. I currently run all combine camps for Webletes.com; and I have worked camps at schools in the SEC, ACC, Big Ten, and MAC, among others. I have also coached college football, at both Ashland University and Oberlin College.
