Weighted Sled Drives are a great drill to teach acceleration mechanics and lower-body strength. Most mortals perform them by pulling between 10 and 20 percent of their body weight. Terron Beckham does them with an SUV. Check out the video player above to see stunning footage of Beckham pulling a Hummer H3, which weighs about 4,800 pounds, across a parking lot.
STACK saw Beckham pull off this awesome feat while he was training at TEST Football Academy in Martinsville, New Jersey, and it further solidified his status as one of the beastliest athletes on the planet.
If you don’t know who Terron Beckham is, let me introduce you:
- He’s 23 years old.
- He’s a personal trainer and fitness model.
- He’s Odell Beckham Jr.’s cousin.
To make things even more interesting, you might see him in an NFL uniform next season. Despite the fact that Terron never played college football, his incredible athleticism and genetic bloodline have led many to believe he could earn a job in the NFL. Beckham has been training at TEST for the past several months, and he will participate in their upcoming Pro Day. At 5-foot-11, 230 pounds, Beckham is hoping to break into the league as a running back—the same position he played in high school.
“We’re impressed with [Terron’s] athleticism. A lot of guys that are bodybuilders or fitness models or those types of guys don’t have the same athleticism. But he played football for 10 years before college. So ya, he didn’t have the last four years of college ball, but he has 10 years under his belt,” said Kevin Dunn, Owner and CEO of TEST. “He’s jumping higher, he’s running faster, he’s got his multidirectional drills down, all his positional drills look great. We’ve been throwing him 100 balls a day and he’s catching everything.”
Beckham also boasts a 44-inch Vertical Jump and he recently recorded 44 reps on the 225 Bench Test.
