Russell Westbrook Gets 'Tailored For Flight,' Possibly Teasing the Jordan XX9 For the NBA Playoffs

With the NBA Playoffs just around the corner, Jordan Brand has released a teaser commercial for the shoes Russell Westbrook will apparently wear in the post-season. With the official unveiling of the Air Jordan XX9 set for Thursday afternoon, an educated person might infer that Westbrook will debut Jordan's latest kicks during the Oklahoma City Thunder's first-round playoff match-up. If you remember, in December 2012, Westbrook was the first NBA player to debut the Jordan XX8 on court.

If the commercial is indeed referencing the XX9, it drops some intriguing clues about what the shoe might look like. Westbrook is dressed to the nines en route to a tailor shop, where an older gentleman appears to be sewing the shoe together from some high-end fabrics. Stay tuned to STACK on Thursday for all the details on the XX9.
