Check out the training facility that helped many NFL stars (and potential future stars) improve their skills.
TEST Football Academy helps youth, high school, collegiate and pro football players improve their skills; and since 1992, they have trained athletes for the NFL Combine. Located in Martinsville, New Jersey, just outside of New York City, TEST has helped college players from all over the country get ready to take the next step in their careers. In the video above, you can get an inside look at how TEST preps NFL hopefuls. The training schedule addresses everything a player needs to perform at the highest level, as athletes work out six days a week and take advantage of TEST's state-of-the-art facility.
The list of players who've come through TEST is a testament to the facility's quality and effectiveness. Joe Flacco trained for the 2008 NFL Combine at TEST, and his impressive performance ultimately helped him get drafted in the first round. Other big-name players who've trained at TEST include Patrick Peterson and Ryan Clady.
TEST also helps lesser-known prospects make a splash, as was the case with Terrence Fede, a defensive end from Marist College, who prepped for his pro day at TEST and ripped off a 4.76 40-Yard Dash and a 9-foot-11 Broad Jump. The performance helped him become the first player in Marist history to get drafted, and he's now a rising star for the Miami Dolphins.
