Tom Brady is the Official 'Madden 18' Cover Boy, Is Not Worried About the Curse

Tom Brady will be the oldest active player to grace the cover of 'Madden,' and he doesn't seem too worried about the whole 'curse' thing.

Tom Brady is finally on the cover of a Madden game.

It was announced earlier today that the five-time Super Bowl champion will grace the cover of Madden NFL 18, the next installment in EA Sports' long-running NFL video game franchise. Brady will be the oldest active player to appear on a Madden cover.

Oh, and that whole "Madden curse" thing? Brady doesn't seem too worried about it:

Drew Brees was the last quarterback to appear on a Madden cover, and he seemed fairly immune to the Madden curse. Perhaps the most famous example of the Madden curse striking a quarterback was Mike Vick. After appearing on the cover of Madden NFL 2004, Vick fractured his fibula prior to the season and missed the first 11 games of the year.

Brady will appear on both the normal edition and the "G.O.A.T. edition" of Madden 18 (the latter of which includes additional content). Check out both covers below, as well as a teaser trailer for the game:
