That’s apparently the case for Elizabeth Sullivan, a life-long Texas Rangers fan who checks in at the ripe old age of 105. Sullivan was given the opportunity to throw out the first pitch before the Rangers took on the Seattle Mariners on Wednesday afternoon, and she was later interviewed by Fox Sports while watching the game from a suite.
Full of more life than some of us who are still under 30, Sullivan revealed the secret to making it past the century mark. “I drink three Dr. Peppers a day,” she said. “Everybody says it has too much sugar, but so far it’s kept me alive!”
We still do not recommend three cans of soda a day to anyone, but Sullivan gets a pass. When you’ve made it to 105, you can do whatever the hell you want.
