Cleveland Browns Rookie WR Rashard Higgins Shows Off Ridiculous Hands In Bizarre Receiving Drill
Given the Cleveland Browns’ current quarterback situation, rookie wide receiver Rashard Higgins should probably be prepared to snag errant passes.
Judging by a recent video of his training, he’s doing exactly that:

We’ve never seen a drill quite like that one, but the ability to track and catch a ball from that position requires an incredible amount of focus, hand-eye coordination, flexibility and hand strength. The drill is likely the brainchild of David Robinson, Higgins’ trainer. In addition to Higgins, Robinson’s client list includes other prominent rookie wideouts Josh Doctson, Corey Coleman and Laquon Treadwell.

Besides prescribing this unique receiving drill, Robinson is helping Higgins hone his route-running, footwork, speed and agility.

With the off-season departures of Travis Benjamin and Brian Hartline, the Browns’ depth chart now has a massive void at receiver. If Higgins keeps grinding like this, he might find himself in a starting role this season.
