Watch Cam Newton’s Younger Brother Caylin Run for 207 Yards in His Latest High School Game
Cam Newton has a little brother, and the dude can flat out ball.
Caylin Newton, a senior quarterback at Grady High School in Atlanta, has already put up gaudy numbers this season. Last week, he posted 207 rushing yards in a win over Woodward Academy, a team that entered the game ranked No. 2 in Georgia’s Class AAAA division.
Just check out these highlights:
Ridiculous, right?
Newton’s devastating jukes and elite explosiveness make it easy to see that he shares DNA with the 2015 NFL MVP.
“I played running back, I played tight end. But there was a time where it was just like ‘why don’t you play quarterback? Then you can run and throw.’ I was like, ‘Why not?,’” Caylin told STACK. “I love touching the ball every play and the leadership involved [with playing quarterback].”
You might expect college teams to be lining up to offer Caylin a scholarship, but so far that hasn’t been the case. He’s currently rated a three-star recruit by 247Sports.com, but he hasn’t received offers from any Division I-A teams. That might have something to do with his size. Caylin is listed at 5-foot-11, 185 pounds by 247Sports.com. For comparison, Cam was 6-foot-5, 235 pounds during his senior year of high school.
I’m tired of being slept on

Although he might be a bit undersized, it’s hard to think that Caylin will continue to fly under the radar if he keeps posting these kinds of performances.
According to Cam, Caylin’s maturity is also one of his major assets. “Caylin is different. I’m not talking athletically, I’m talking maturity level. I have to remind myself that he’s not as old as I think he is,” Cam told STACK.
Though Caylin and Cam are super tight, the younger Newton is determined to make his own name. “I work out at my high school. A lot of guys like to push me by saying, ‘Come on, Cam’s brother.’ That really irritates me, because I have a name. I can’t stand when people call me ‘Little Cam’ or compare me to my brother, but that’s my motivation,” Caylin said. “Being my own person, accomplishing things for me. Not because of my last name, but because of my first name. I have big dreams.”
