Halo 4 Release Date Announced

One of the most successful gaming franchises of all time has finally set a date for its next release. The highly anticipated Halo 4 will be available Nov. 6, exclusively on Xbox 360.

Halo 4 is the first Halo title developed by 343 Industries. Previous editions were put together by video game developer Bungie. Halo 3, released in 2007, sold over 8 million copies and was the best-selling video game of the year. That title wrapped up the first trilogy. Halo 4 will be the first title in a new series of three games, which Microsoft says will be released over the course of a decade.

Like previous Halo games, Halo 4 will be a first-person shooter. It will start four years after the end of Halo 3.
