On Sept. 29, Wisconsin will face off against Nebraska in the adidas "Unrivaled Game." Both schools will wear new adidas uniforms for that contest, with Nebraska's new look featuring black helmets.
adidas recently released information on the Badgers' new look, in keeping with the theme of the game: "The Quick and the Red."
The new uniforms for both schools incorporate new adidas technology that make the fabric more streamlined; but most fans will care more about the look than the feel. Wisconsin's new TECHFIT unis highlight the Wisconsin W (similar to Nebraska's N) on both the helmet and the front of the jersey. Note the black facemask on the red helmet, and, in what has become fairly standard for new college football uniforms, the palm of adizero Smoke gloves with the Badger block "W."
