The Scoop on Sony's 3 New PlayStation Games
On Aug. 14 at Gamescom 2012, Sony presented three new PlayStation games: Puppeteer, Rain and Until Dawn. These fantasy-based games will add spice to your gaming life; however, you’ll have to rein in your excitement since the games won’t be released until 2013.
Puppeteer
Puppeteer will take you deep into the imagination of a young boy. You will wander through a magical theater as a boy-puppet named Kutaro, whose head was torn off and eaten by the Moon Bear King. In order to liberate Kutaro from the magical theater, you will have to sift through of assortment of heads (each providing a different power), then steal Moon Bear King’s magic scissors to cut yourself to freedom. The game’s strange and twisted fantasy world will thrill both kids and adults.
Rain
If you are looking for adventure, saddle up with Rain. In this game, you will control a boy who is only visible when rained on. Without rain, you won’t be able to see the character on the screen, and therefore must play based on visual traces, like footprints in the mud or splashes in puddles.
Until Dawn
This new PlayStation Move game draws its inspiration from classic horror films. The game begins when a group of classmates visit an ancient forest to bury the memory of a missing classmate. However, it takes a frightening turn as classmates fall victim to a secret murderer. Playing the game from the perspective of multiple characters, you must find out who is trying to kill you before it’s too late. If you like suspense and horror, this game is for you!
