A tied ballgame, several QB injuries and a Yahoo! Sports Fantasy Football outage cannot slow the progress of the Battle of the Brands. Get up to speed on all the league action with your weekly recap, below.
Now this was the type of production we have been expecting from Team Nike, which improved to 4-0 against Team adidas. Quarterback Matt Ryan and WR Calvin Johnson each exceeded 30 points, and RB Adrian Peterson's 28-point effort gave Nike its highest scoring output of the season. Team adidas eclipsed the 100-point mark, thanks to TE Jimmy Graham, who accounted for a third of his team's scoring total. Rookie QB Ryan Tannehill (5.5 fantasy points) struggled mightily in his Battle of the Brands debut.
No Maurice Jones-Drew. No Antonio Brown. No problem for Team Reebok, which continued its winning ways with its third consecutive victory, tightening its grip on first place in the Battle of the Brands. Six of Reebok's seven starters posted double-digit fantasy points, although no player surpassed the 20-point mark. The loss ended a three-game winning streak for Team Under Armour, which fell to 5-5 on the season.
3. Jimmy Graham, Team adidas
Graham was superb with seven catches for 146 yards and two touchdowns.
2. Adrian Peterson, Team Nike
AP has scored five touchdowns in the last four games. His 28-point performance was tops among running backs this week.
1. Brandon Marshall, Team Reebok
It was a performance of mega proportions for Megatron: 12 catches, 207 yards and one touchdown.
