Nike Reveals the Zoom Revis Signature Shoe

November 30, 2012

Must See Nike Videos

Nike and New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis have collaborated to design a training shoe built for game-day speed. The omni-weather Nike Zoom Revis incorporates Nike's Flywire technology and supports the extreme cuts and explosiveness for which Revis is known.

The shoe's design was inspired by the landmark bridges of his hometown of Pittsburgh, and the yellow traction circles on the sole evoke the bridges' bright lights. Nike used the Jets' kelly green and white for the main color scheme, and the shoe incorporates Revis's number 24 throughout the design. Other noteworthy features include the word "FAMILY" embroidered on the inside of the tongue and a quote on the inside of the midfoot strap that reads, “The only way to handle pressure…is to apply it!”

The Nike Zoom Revis ($130) will be launched at the Champs Yardline store in Willowbrook Mall, Wayne, N.J., on Dec. 1, where the four-time Pro Bowler is expected to make an appearance.
