During an interview with MTV, Robert Rodriquez—director of the upcoming Sin City sequel, A Dame to Kill For—confirmed that Bruce Willis will appear in the flick. He said, "Bruce is back, so you'll be seeing him."

Willis, who portrays John Hartigan in the film, joins a cast of returning stars for the sequel: Jessica Alba as Nancy Callahan; Clive Owen as Dwight McCarthy; Mickey Rourke as Marv; Rosario Dawson as Gail; and Jamie King as Goldie/Wendy.

In addition to these cast members, new faces will grace the sequel. Joseph Gordon Levitt will portray a character named Johnny. "It's a new character. He plays a gambler, a very cocky gambler, who comes in and tries to beat the biggest villain in Sin City at his own game," said Rodriguez.

Dennis Hyasbert, Jamie Chung, Christopher Meloni, Juno Temple, Jeremy Piven, Ray Liotta and Josh Brolin as Dwight (pre-facial reconstruction) will also appear in the film.

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For will open in theaters on Oct. 4 and will be presented in 3D. It will reportedly tell the story of Dwight's disfigurement along with the story of his lost love, Ava Lord.

The original film hit theaters back in 2005 and pulled in more than $150 million at the box office. The Sin City movies are based on graphic novels by  Frank Miller, and Miller contributed to the scripts and assisted in directing both.
