Want a taste of what it’s like to train at a Division I school? If so, check out Coach Duane Carlisle’s Elite Performance Camp.
Coach Carlisle, director of performance at Purdue University, is hosting two Elite Performance Camps on the Purdue campus in West Lafayette, Indiana—on June 29-30 and July 12-14, 2013. The camps are designed to improve all aspects of your athleticism by focusing on sport-specific strength and conditioning, and to offer the information and advice you need to take your game to the collegiate level.
“This camp is not only tailored to give you a Division I athletic training regimen; it will also put you at the top of your game,” Carlisle writes on eliteperformancecamp.com. “The camp will allow you to experience the demands of a top Division I program and what it takes to be a successful student-athlete.”
In addition to a cutting-edge strength and conditioning experience, Coach Carlisle will provide athletes with information they can use after the camp to continue enhancing their athletic potential. He has enlisted other Purdue experts to give interactive presentations on nutrition, mental preparation and college recruiting. At the conclusion of the camp, all participants will receive a full 12-week training program, specifically tailored to their personal fitness and sport goals.
You can register for the camp at eliteperformancecamp.com. Athletes staying on the Purdue campus will pay $430, while commuters will pay $390.
