The military offers several ways to earn money for college or repay your loans.

Attend a Service Academy

Every student at the five U.S. service academies receives a full scholarship; however, service academies are even more difficult to get into than most Ivy League schools.

Join the ROTC

The Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps all have Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC)programs offering tuition help to students who commit to military service after college. Completing the ROTC program makes you eligible to enter as an officer.

National Guard

The Guard requires one weekend a month and two weeks a year for training in exchange for educational benefits like the Montgomery G.I. Bill and federal tuition assistance.
