30-Minute HIIT Fat-Burning Workout

You won't need expensive equipment to perform this 30-minute HIIT fat-burning workout.

Many of you are now in season and spending a lot of time practicing your sport. Don't let your schedule or lack of equipment become an excuse for not working out. You don't always need a treadmill, elliptical or rowing machine to burn tons of fat from your body.

This 30-Minute HIIT fat-burning workout will take your metabolism into high gear—with very little equipment.

You'll need two things: One weighted plate and one set of suspension straps.

So get in the gym, break a sweat, strengthen your entire body and dominate your competition! You are going to feel this from every cell in your body. The fat is going to be screaming!

Ready?

Circuit 1 : Plate Party

Weighted Plate

Get a weighted plate, dumbbell or whatever you have handy. Complete each exercise for 30 seconds at an all-out pace. Then rest for 20 seconds and get ready for the next exercise.

Go right down the list and do all five exercises.

Rest 1 minute, then repeat for 3 full rounds.

  1. Runner's Lunge with Twist
  2. Squat to Punch
  3. Around the World
  4. Plate Burpees
  5. Deadlift to Turn andPunch

Circuit 2: Suspension Hell

TRX Side Knee Tucks

Same exact protocol as the plate circuit: 30 seconds on, 20 seconds off.

Go through all five, rest 1 minute, then repeat for 2 more full circuits

  1. Punch the Sky
  2. Suspended Butterflies
  3. Jumping Y's
  4. Side Knee Tucks
  5. Rows
