Steph Curry Releases New Signature Shoes, Internet Destroys Them

Steph Curry's signature shoe, the 'Curry Two Low,' dropped this week, but online commentators immediately came up with more entertaining names for them.

Steph Curry, who's been struggling so far in the NBA Finals (averaging 16.0 points per game on 43.6 percent shooting), released his latest Under Armour shoe, the "Curry 2 Low Chef Curry," on Thursday. The white-on-white low tops, shown above, look a bit like New Balance's iconic (but not exactly cool) 577 Walking Shoe.

The Internet did not love the new look.

Renaming the shoes has become a meme of sorts.

 

And of course the Internet wouldn't be the Internet without the "Crying Jordan" meme.

 

One person who didn't take shots at the shoe online? Steph's brother Seth Curry, who tweeted out a photo of himself wearing the new kicks:
