Johnny Manziel Deadlifts 400+ Pounds, Proves His Comeback is Legit

Johnny Manziel has been training in San Diego with Seattle Seahawks quarterback Trevone Boykin.

#ComebackSZN is in full swing for Johnny Manziel.

The 2012 Heisman Trophy winner fizzled out of the NFL after two seasons due to attitude issues and excessive partying, but he's now working to get back in football shape.

Manziel has been training at The Athlete Factory in San Diego with trainer Les Spellman. Earlier this week, Spellman posted this training clip on his Instagram:

Then yesterday, Manziel posted several Instagram moments of himself training with Seattle Seahawks quarterback Trevone Boykin. One included a shot of Manziel Deadlifting 405 pounds for two reps before hopping over a hurdle:

Manziel has also been working with noted quarterback trainer George Whitfield Jr., who has trained the likes of Andrew Luck and Jameis Winston. In another Instagram post, Manziel wrote that he feels "sensational," so maybe "Johnny Football" isn't dead after all.

No matter what comes of it, it's good to see Manziel working hard and getting his life back together.
