WATCH: Kobe Bryant Dominates as a High School Junior

Watch 'The Black Mamba' as a high school junior heat up and take control in the second half of a 1995 state tournament game.

Kobe Bryant recently told NBC that he's "70 in basketball years." The first guard to jump straight from high school to the NBA, Bryant has played in 1,465 games (4,208 minutes) across 18 NBA seasons. His two remaining years with the Lakers are expected to be his last.

The following video of Kobe Bryant in high school in 1995 has recently surfaced, showing "The Black Mamba" in his pre-NBA glory, lighting up the scoreboard (skip to the 9:00 mark to see the game highlights.)

In this District 1, AAAA quarterfinal game during the Pennsylvania state tournament, Bryant helped the Lower Marion High School (Ardmore, Pennsylvania) Aces recover from an 8-point halftime deficit to defeat Norristown, 75-70. Exploding for 18 points in the fourth quarter, he finished the game with 35 points and 12 rebounds. "Caution: flammable."
