When in training, Lochte swims at least five hours, six days per week, reportedly covering about 110,000 meters. After spending so much time in the pool, the Olympic Gold Medalist escapes by skateboarding. In an interview with the Boston Globe, Lochte said that during the 2012 Olympics he went skateboarding around Olympic Village when the "spirit moved him." He may want to get a handle on that spirit: Lochte told The Telegraph that he's so farĀ broken his ankle three times while skateboarding.
