The Point of Contact

Eyes

Focus on the top left quadrant of the baseball.

Hands

Continue pushing your hands on their linear path; do not swing the bat around the body. Instead, "punch" your hands with determination at the point of contact, so that your bat meets the ball with power. Your top hand will be in a palm-up position, your bottom hand palm-down.

Arms

Your arms should be close to full extension—but not completely locked out—as you hit the ball.
