It’s hard to believe that a basketball shoe can weigh only 9.8 ounces. We had to see the adidas adiZero Crazy Light sneaker with our own eyes, and we also got to speak with adiZero designers and researchers about its innovative design and to wear-test the lightest basketball shoe ever.
Our biggest concerns were ankle support and overall stability, but we found the Crazy Light quite secure and extremely comfortable, thanks to its cushioning. The shoe’s traction was also very solid, due to its unique sole pattern.
