When the Air Force Academy football team takes the field on Sept. 10 against Georgia State, they'll be wearing some of the coolest helmets we've ever seen. Inspired by a World War II fleet of fighter planes called "Flying Tigers," a group made up of both Chinese and American pilots, the silver helmets feature an eye and shark's teeth painted on either side, just as it was on the planes.

Though the helmets are almost too pretty to play in, they will look incredibly cool once they see some legitimate game action. Here's hoping the reviews are so positive that Air Force decides to rock these bad boys during the rest of the season.
