Antonio Brown Was Back in the Weight Room Just Hours After Signing His Record-Breaking Contract
Antonio Brown signed a four-year, $68 million contract extension yesterday with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The deal instantly made him the highest paid wide receiver in the NFL.
What would most people do if they suddenly became $68 million richer? I don’t know—probably blow it on cars, clothes, houses, exotic pets, Taco Bell, whatever. But AB? He was right back in the gym just a couple of hours after signing his new deal.

Right before he posted that clip on his Instagram story, Brown shared his old scouting report on Twitter:
6th Round. 195th overall.
“Lacks functional strength…”I’m still hungry.

It certainly looks like Brown’s motivation and drive won’t change, despite the fact that his bank account just got a lot fatter.
Brown uses a variety of methods to stay in shape during the offseason. In addition to traditional weight room workouts, the wide receiver also utilizes swimming, Pilates, TRX training and sprint workouts (among other things). This style of cross-training allows Brown to destroy muscle imbalances and stay strong throughout the grind of an NFL season.
