The boys are back! Vince (Adrian Grenier), a newly slimmed down Turtle (Jerry Ferrara), Drama (Kevin Dillon), Eric (Kevin Connolly) and fan favorite Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven) are back in our lives, soaking in all the glitz and glamour of Hollywood and once again teetering on the brink of absolute failure. But that’s when they’re at their best, right?
The clip starts out very meta with the weird trailer for Vinny’s latest movie. Much to Ari’s chagrin, the $100-million flick is already more than $15 million over budget, appearing to revolve around a superhuman DJ (Vince) who uses his ability to incite a crowd of ravers to take on the police. Unfortunately, it looks as ridiculous as it sounds, which spells trouble for Ari, since his studio is backing the film. And if it’s bad for Ari, you can only imagine what his long-suffering confidante Lloyd (Rex Lee) and ultra-grounded wife (Perrey Reeves) must endure. Check out the trailer for Entourage below.
Piling on the pressure is Texas billionaire Larsen McCredle (Billy Bob Thornton), who financed the film and isn’t keen to lose his investment, and his gun-happy son Travis (Haley Joel Osment). “This movie’s enormous. If it fails, you go down in flames quicker than the Hindenburg,” McCredle tells an increasingly agitated Ari.
Shauna (Debi Mazar), Dana Gordon (Constance Zimmer), Sloan (Emmanuelle Chriqui) and Charlie (Bow Wow) are also expected to make the leap to the big screen, along with cameos from A-list athletes Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski and Russell Wilson, and actors Mark Wahlberg and Liam Neeson. Entourage is being written and directed by Doug Ellin and will arrive in theaters June 5, 2015.
