New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski came up a few inches short on the last play of Super Bowl XLVI, but he hasn’t let the disappointment of a failed Hail Mary affect his off-season. Simply being able to play in the game, only two weeks after a severe ankle injury, was impressive enough. But his off-season training routine takes the Legend of Gronk to a whole new level.
Gronk’s doing what he can in his free time, including quick workouts on his couch using a crutch. He’s one of 64 NFL players competing to be on the cover of Madden NFL 13, and he’s taking his campaign very seriously. Here’s a quick look at his form on the Couch Crunch Curl, as well as his pitch to grace the cover of the next edition of the iconic football game.

“We’re grinding, no matter what the situation is,” says Gronkowski. “Now get hyped, and get Gronk’d!”
