Winter is tight. I say this not because of the snow or the cold or the sun setting before I even leave the office. Those are all terrible things. But winter is tight because I get to wear hoodies every day for four months, leaving me at a nearly perfect body temperature as I go about my daily business.
When summer comes, I patiently wait for a night when the temperature dips below 70 degrees, just so I can have an excuse to open my closet and slip on a hoodie again. Short sleeves are for suckers.
adidas gets me. Its ClimaWarm hoodie and high-neck pullover are two of the softest, coziest articles of clothing I’ve ever had the pleasure of wearing. It’s like covering myself in the blanket my mom draped over me when I was sick as a kid, except way more stylish and athletic.
The hoodie is my favorite. It’s slim-fitting without being too restrictive, so you can rock it whether you’re sitting on your couch watching football or actually playing football outside (I usually choose the former). It’s got a dope little chest pocket to store your keys, phone or whatever else you take outside with you.

The pullover is cool too—just as warm and cozy as the hoodie. I wasn’t big on the high-neck portion of the hood—it sort of felt like I was wearing a turtleneck, and I’m not about that life. But man, is it warm! I could absolutely see myself going for a run while wearing it with the temperature around 25 degrees and feeling like I was inside running on a treadmill.
If you’re into keeping warm but still looking fly during the long, dark and arduous winter months, I suggest heading over to adidas.com and purchasing one or both of these garments. You can grab them for $100 apiece.
