Between the retro releases for which Nike’s Jordan Brand has become so popular and the anticipation for the Air Jordan XX9, sneakerheads can soon jump into a shoe that mixes the past with what’s up next to create the Jordan Future.
Taking the iconic sole of the Air Jordan XI and mixing it with an all-black woven upper, the Jordan Future is a lightweight and minimalist lifestyle shoe, meant to bolster Jordan’s off-the-court offerings. Its asymmetrical lacing system reduces pressure around the top of the foot in the name of comfort, while the upper boasts reflective threading to ensure that the shoe stands out in a crowd.
The Jordan Future drops March 15 in two different colorways, Infrared and Glow, the latter of which features a glow-in-the-dark sole.
