LA Clippers' DeAndre Jordan Joins Under Armour
To join NBA players Brandon Jennings, Greivis Vasquez, Kemba Walker and Derrick Williams, Under Armour added LA Clippers center DeAndre Jordan to their basketball roster. After signing a new four-year, $43 million dollar contract, the 6’11” Jordan showed off his athleticism with a vicious dunk over the Lakers’ Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum in last week’s pregame match up (video below).
When asked about joining Under Armour, Jordan said, “Under Armour is building around an exciting group of players, and the brand has shown a commitment to helping basketball players train and perform better. I look forward to helping Under Armour reach young basketball players with the message that hard work is the key to success on the court, and I know their innovative footwear will help me improve my game.”
With Chris Paul and Caron Butler joining Jordan and Blake Griffin in LA, look for the Clippers to make a lot of noise this season. Congrats to DeAndre for becoming a part of the UA team—and best of luck this season.
