New Balance running fanatics have good reason to be excited about two new colorways of the brand’s popular 814 trail running shoe, releasing this spring.
Nick Engvall of Eastbay reports, “With an aggressive tread pattern and superb cushioning, the top-of-the-line off-road shoe—the 814—comes equipped with all the features needed to take your run outside the city limits to discover a new path.”

Engvall continues, “This all-terrain model comes with New Balance’s N-ergy System cushioning, which is an elastomer engineered to provide both shock absorption and responsiveness. Additional cushioning comfort comes from New Balance’s C-Cap compression molded EVA midsole. New Balance’s AT Tread outsole design ensures that whatever trail you decide to take on, the 814 will be able to dig in when you need it. On top of that, the New Balance 814 outsole is comprised of the company’s Ndurance rubber compound, so you’ll be hard-pressed to wear these down prematurely.”
The two new colorways of the New Balance 814 Trail Running Shoe will be available in upcoming weeks at eastbay.com.
