Kevin Durant’s foot injury, which will sideline the NBA star for the first few months of the season, hasn’t prevented new colorways of his seventh signature shoe from dropping.
Next up is the Nike KD7 “On the Road,” a shoe that represents the roughly 225 hours that Durant has played away from the friendly confines of Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City. The shoe sports a blue, orange, silver and black colorway throughout the upper, matching up nicely with the Thunder’s away jerseys. The eighth colorway to drop so far continues with the “weather” theme that has become a staple of Durant’s signature line. Atmospheric graphics grace the shoe’s outsole, and the silver on the Nike Swoosh represents Durant’s affinity for meteorology.
The KD7 “On the Road’ drops globally Oct. 23 for $150.
