Nfl superstars Adrian Peterson, Brandon Lloyd and Aaron Rodgers share their favorite video games.
Peterson: “Zelda was the only game I really remember playing to the point where my Mom had to come in and say, ‘Boy, turn that game off, it’s time to go to bed.’” The four-time All-Pro Minnesota Vikings RB is now into Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, preferring single-player games where you go on missions. “I’ve always been that kind of gamer.”
Lloyd: St. Louis Rams WR Brandon Lloyd picked up his copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 at the midnight release. Lloyd loves the camaraderie and competition that MW3 promotes. “Every team I’ve been on,” he says, “we’ve had a huge following. That game brings people together. I still have guys I play [COD] with who are out of the league.”
Rodgers: “My favorite video game of all time is probably Halo,” the 2010 Super Bowl MVP of the Green Bay Packers has said. It comes as no surprise that one of the NFL’s most accurate passers feels right at home in a game where you lock onto a target and fire away. Sometimes, this stuff writes itself.
