One popular figure in Seattle thinks the city should start a petition to bring the SuperSonics back to the Emerald City—Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson. Tuesday night, Wilson tweeted out how the people of Seattle love basketball and how the stadium would sell out every game.
Established in 1967, the SuperSonics went to the NBA Finals three times and won one championship, in 1979. If Sonic fans would be anything like the Seahawks 12th Man fans, the team would probably sell out every game.
