Stretch, a comedy starring Patrick Wilson and Chris Pine, tells the tale of a down-on-his-luck limo driver who picks up an eccentric billionaire with some peculiar ideas on how to spend the evening. In an effort to make enough money in one shift to pay off his gambling debts, Stretch (played by Wilson) agrees to fulfill any request the passenger makes—no matter how bizarre. But when the passenger turns out to be a complete whack job, things go from weird to dangerous, and Stretch wonders what he's gotten himself into.
Chris Pine plays the passenger from hell. One of Pine's most memorable roles was as the iconic James T. Kirk, but he does have experience portraying deranged characters, such as the psychopathic assassin Darwin Tremor in the 2006 thriller, Smokin' Aces.
Stretch also stars Jessica Alba, Brooklyn Decker, James Badge Dale and Ed Helms. The movie is directed by Joe Carnahan, best known for helming features like The A-Team and Smokin' Aces. Carnahan also wrote the screenplay, along with writer/actor Jerry Corley and newcomer Rob Rose.
Stretch is due to hit theaters March 21, 2014.
